PokeSee ("we," "our," or "us"), developed by AruAI Labs, provides an AI-powered Pokemon Trading Card Game scanner and pricing intelligence application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the PokeSee mobile application.

By using PokeSee, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

Account Information

• Email address and password (encrypted)
• Device identifier for anonymous usage
• Authentication tokens

Card Scan & Analysis Data

• Camera images of Pokemon cards captured for AI analysis
• Card identification results (name, set, rarity, edition)
• Card condition and quality assessment results
• Pricing data and market value estimates
• Scan history and saved card records

Usage & Transaction Data

• AI search queries and conversation history
• Credit balance and transaction records
• In-app purchase history

Technical Data

• Device type, operating system, and app version
• App usage patterns and feature interactions
• Crash reports and performance diagnostics
• Debug logs (collected automatically for troubleshooting)

We use collected information to:

• Identify Pokemon cards and provide accurate pricing intelligence
• Assess card condition and quality through AI analysis
• Provide AI-powered search and knowledge about Pokemon TCG
• Manage your credit balance and process transactions
• Maintain your scan history and saved collections

PokeSee integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

AI Processing

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — processes card images for identification and quality analysis. Images are sent securely for analysis.
• OpenAI — powers AI search and knowledge features. Queries are processed securely and not used for model training.

Backend & Storage

• Supabase — secure database and authentication services. Account data and scan records are stored with encryption.

Diagnostics

• Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports and diagnostic data to improve app stability

Pricing Data

• Pokemon Price Tracker API — provides real-time market pricing data for identified cards

Payments

• Google Play Billing — processes credit purchases and in-app transactions. Payment information is handled entirely by Google and is never accessed by us.

We implement robust security measures to protect your information:

• Encrypted storage for sensitive account credentials
• Secure HTTPS connections for all data transmissions
• Authentication tokens stored securely on device
• Row-level security policies on backend database
• Credit transactions processed with integrity checks

We retain your account data, scan history, credit records, and purchase history for as long as your account is active. Card scan images are sent directly to AI services for analysis and are not permanently stored on our servers. AI search queries are cached temporarily (up to 30 minutes) to improve performance and reduce costs.

If you request account deletion, all associated personal data, including scan history, saved cards, and credit records, will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. To request deletion, contact us at privacy@aruailabs.com. Note that anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for service improvement purposes.

PokeSee is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data stored in the application
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your card collection data
• Withdraw consent at any time

Your information may be processed in the United Arab Emirates where AruAI Labs is headquartered. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected within the application and on this page with a revised date. Continued use of PokeSee after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
